Get Trained
Everyone has a role to play in preventing child abuse. Your impact starts with the knowledge of how you can help.
KARE has several training options available that cover topics such as recognizing and reporting child abuse, preventing child sexual abuse, being an active bystander, and protecting children from sex trafficking. All trainings are available for organizations or simply for individuals or small groups.
Educating ourselves is one of the most instrumental things we can do to end and prevent child abuse. With that in mind, we schedule trainings on an as-needed basis. If you would like to get trained or to host a training, contact us at 828-456-8995 or email Lauren at LLanoue@karehouse.org or Abby at abearden@karehouse.org.
